Mean Girls (Ages 13+) Deposit

Join the cast of Mean Girls!

This advanced teen program (ages 13+) is for experienced performers ready to take the stage in the full Broadway production of Mean Girls. Rehearsals run Jan 7–May 9, 2026 (Mon/Wed 5:30–8 PM, Sat 11–2) with performances May 7–9. Auditions will be January 13th and 15th. Students should bring a prepared monologue and 1 minute song. If you join past this date, we will arrange your audition during your first week.

Total tuition: $1650 for 17 week semester (prorated for late starts)

Due Today: A $275 non-refundable deposit to reserve your role. Next tuition payment due by Jan 1.

How to Enroll

  • Choose your child’s schedule (number of days/week) and payment plan.

  • Click “Add to cart” to open the enrollment form.

  • Complete the enrollment form (select your preferred days) and select “add to cart” again

  • You will then see a payment screen for the deposit

  • Watch for a follow-up email with next steps.

Enrolling more than one child? After adding the first child and submitting their form, use your browser’s Back button to return to this page and repeat the steps for your next child. Your first child’s deposit will remain in your cart until you finish checkout. If you prefer, you can also complete separate orders for each child.

After Checkout

Sibling, teacher, and military discounts will be applied to the remaining tuition balance (not the deposit).

You’ll receive a follow-up email from info@burchfieldtheatre.com with:

  • A breakdown of final cost

  • Applied discounts (sibling, teacher, military)

  • Instructions to complete payment in full or set up monthly tuition payments

Transportation Add-On (Optional) - Please contact us to confirm availability before registering

Add our “Transportation Add-On Deposit” (Mon–Fri from local Buda/Kyle schools) to your cart and complete the transportation form to reserve a bus spot.

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required at checkout and is applied toward monthly transportation payments.

Semester Details

  • Program Dates: January 5 – May 9, 2026

  • Duration: 17 weeks (Spring Break March 16-20 not included)

  • First Rehearsal: Monday, Jan 5th at 5:30pm (school is not in session this day but we will have our first introductory rehearsal)

  • Performances: May 7–9, 2026

Rehearsal Schedule

  • Monday and Wednesday

    • Class: 5:30pm-8:00pm

    • Drop off: 4:00-5:30pm (relax/homework time for those who use transportation services)

  • SaturdaysClass: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (3 hours)

    Location: Burchfield Educational Theatre, Buda TX

Special Policy for HaysCISD Closure Days

When a closure falls on a rehearsal day (Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday):

  • Cast members may drop in for an all day to get extra rehearsal time, or

  • Choose to attend only the afterschool regular scheduled rehearsal.

Auditions & Requirements

  • Eligibility: this is an advanced program. Students must be ages 13+ and have prior theatre or performance experience. (Special consideration may be given for mature 12-year-olds with director and parent approval.)

  • Must be available during tech week (afterschool) and show dates (matinee and evenings): May 5-May 10

Transportation (optional)

Pick-up is available starting January 6, 2025, from:

  • Elementary:  Buda Elementary, Carpenter Hill Elementary, Elm Grove Elementary, Laura B. Negley Elementary, Fuentes Elementary, Pfluger Elementary, Sunfield Elementary

  • Middle & Highschool: Barton Middle, Dahlstrom Middle, McCormick Middle, Wallace Middle, Johnson High (Buda), Hays High

  • Valor Charter Schools

Transportation Billing

Transportation is billed separately from tuition as a monthly subscription. After enrollment, you’ll receive a Square link to add your card and start your transportation plan. Charges are billed Jan 1, Feb 1, March 1, April 1 and May 1. A completed transportation waiver must be submitted before the December deadline for be enrolled in services. This will be emailed closer to the start of the semester.
