Before You Register: What to know.

We’re excited to welcome your child to camp! To help ensure a smooth, joyful experience for everyone, please review the following key policies before completing registration.

Camp Commitment

  • Summer Camp runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Each camper takes on a meaningful role and contributes to the final performance or showcase.

  • We strongly encourage full attendance for all days of camp.

  • If you have any concerns about your child’s ability to attend the final performance or showcase, please reach out to us in advance at angela@burchfieldtheatre.com. We’ll do our best to make sure every camper feels included and supported.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

  • Summer Camp drop-off begins at 8:00 AM | Pick-up is at 4:00 PM

  • We offer flexible options for families who need extended hours:

    • Early drop-off and late pick-up (30 min extensions)

    • There is a $10 charge per 30-minute extension to ensure your child is safely supervised and cared for

    • This charge will be added to your final tuition invoice

  • Please make sure any trusted adult (other than listed guardians) responsible for pick-up is listed on your child’s registration form

What to Bring

  • Nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a labeled water bottle

  • Comfortable clothes for movement (no flip-flops); black jazz shoes if available

  • Hair should be pulled back out of the face

Behavior Expectations

We’re committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for every camper. By registering, you agree to the following:

  • Campers are expected to be kind, inclusive, and ready to participate

  • Bullying, discriminatory speech, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated

  • Severe or repeated behavioral issues may result in dismissal without refund

Refund & Payment Policy

  • A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at registration to reserve your child’s spot

  • Remaining tuition will be invoiced in April and is due by May 1

  • If final payment is not received by May 1, your child’s spot may be released

  • Sibling and military discounts (upon request) will be applied to the final invoice

Refund

  • 30+ days before camp: Full refund (minus deposit)

  • 15–29 days before camp: 50% refund (minus deposit)

  • 14 or fewer days before camp: No refund

  • All refund requests must be emailed to info@burchfieldtheatre.com

  • Medical or family emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Health Notice

Please keep your child home if they are sick or recovering from a contagious illness (fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the past 24 hours).
