Getting here after school isn’t always easy. We offer direct transportation from select schools in Buda, Kyle, and South Austin, using only our own trusted drivers. No third-party vans or mystery shuttles. Just a safe ride straight to Burchfield Theatre from your child’s school. Our drivers are background checked and CPR certified staff members of Burchfield Theatre.

How It Works

  • Available 1–5 days/week — you choose the days (e.g., M/W/F) on your registration form and add transportation to your cart at check-out.

  • Aug 24 - Dec 18 (15 ½ weeks) (no service during school closures and Spring Break).

  • Semester cost spread out to 4 equal monthly payments billed through Square. Transportation is not a full pay service. It is subscription based.

  • A valid card on file is required before Aug 1.

Transportation Pricing (per child, based on 15.5‑week semester)

  • 1 day/week — $53 × 4 monthly payments ($212 semester total)

  • 2 days/week — $106 × 4 payments ($424 semester total)

  • 3 days/week — $133 × 4 payments ($532 semester total)

  • 4 days/week —$159 × 4 payments ($636 semester total)

  • 5 days/week —$186 × 4 payments ($744 semester total)

Closures & Full-Day Care Options

  • When school is closed and we can’t run transportation, afterschool classes still meet.

  • Transportation families may add All‑Day Care (7:30 AM–4:30 PM) on school closure days if they need care during the day

  • Your transportation subscription will be discounted to reflect missed rides to due to Hays CISD school closures

  • Spring break week not reflected in transportation cost

Discounts for Closures

All school closures across 15.5 weeks (not including Thanksgiving Break): Sept 7, 21; Oct 9, 12, 30; Nov 2, 3.

Discounts are spread across the entire transportation subscription (ex. $40 off the semester = $10 off per monthly payment)

  • 1 day/week — $12.50/ride for 15.5 week semester

    • Mondays: $40 off the semester

    • Fridays: $20 off the semester

  • 2 days/week — $12.50/ride for 15.5 week semester

    • Mondays: $40 off the semester

    • Fridays: $20 off the semester

    • Monday and Friday: $75 off the semester

  • 3 days/week — $10.42/ride for 15.5 week semester

    • Mondays: $40 off the semester

    • Fridays: $20 off the semester

    • Monday and Friday: $60 off the semester

  • 4 days/week — $9.35 per ride for 15.5 week semester

    • Mondays: $37 off the semester

    • Fridays: $18 off the semester

    • Monday and Friday: $55 off the semester

  • 5 days/week — $8.75 per ride for 15.5 week semester

    • 4 Mondays, one Tuesday, and 2 Fridays (7 total days) of transportation missed: $50 discount off the semester

First Week & Route Setup

  • The first week helps us fine-tune timing and routines for each route

  • To confirm a transportation seat, complete enrollment in our afterschool program and select the transportation when adding to your cart

  • Transportation seats must be confirmed by Monday, August 13, to begin service on Aug 24.

  • Transportation is billed at the full semester rate, divided into 4 monthly payments (Sept 1 - Dec 1)

  • Once your child’s seat is confirmed, it is reserved for the semester

Changes, Absences & Cancellations

  • Need to change pickup days or withdraw? Please give 3 weeks’ notice

  • Missed days due to student absence from school are not refunded

  • Your transportation subscription will be discounted to reflect days we do not pick up due to Hays CISD school closures

  • Want to add transportation mid-semester? If space is available, we’re happy to accommodate. Please email us to set that up.

Transportation FAQ’s

  • No, because routes are planned based on confirmed registrations, we’re unable to offer trial rides and require a minimum commitment of one month to sign-up.

  • When you pay your program deposit, you’ll have the option to add transportation. On the registration form, indicate which school your child needs pick-up from (from our list above) and select your transportation days.

    We will then send an invoice to activate your transportation subscription and tuition plan from Square or Stripe. Using the card you provide, you’ll be billed 5 payments automatically Jan-May.

  • You can indicate interest on your registration form — we’ll follow up if there’s enough demand to add your school to a route.

  • Yes! You can choose 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. Your price will reflect the number of days you select.
