Youngbloods (K-2)

  • Session dates: August 24-December 17, 2026 - 16 weeks

  • The Sound of Music Performances: December 11, 12, & 13, 2026

  • Mystery on 13th Street Performances: October 2, 3 &4, 2026

  • $250 deposit + 5 monthly payments of $150-$230

  • Choose 1-5 days/week (Mon-Sat)

  • Afterschool Class 4:00pm-5:30pm

  • Optional afterschool pick-up available

Supernova (3-8)

  • Session dates: Jan 6-May 8, 2026 - 16 weeks

  • The Sound of Music Performances: December 11, 12 & 13, 2026

  • $250 Deposit + 5 monthly payments of $235-$310

  • Choose 1-5 days/week (Mon-Sat)

  • Schedule: Mon & Wed 5:30-8:00pm, Sat 10:30am-1:30pm

Fall 2026 Daytime Theatre for Homeschoolers !

Mon or Mon & Tues · 9:30 AM–12:30 PM · Ages 4–17 · Starts August 24 (late starts welcome!)

Give your homeschooler the chance to shine! Students build acting, singing, dance, and technical theatre skills during the day and work towards two full-scale productions with our afterschool cast. Every child has a role, on stage or behind the scenes.

At Burchfield Educational Theatre, your child is guided by a team of background-checked, CPR and First Aid certified professionals. Our founder, Angela Burchfield, is a seasoned voice teacher, music educator, and special education professional with decades of experience helping young performers grow.

Our instructors bring real-world performance backgrounds ensuring every child receives high-quality education in a safe, supportive environment.

  • Most importantly, my daughter LOVED this camp. She was sad when her time there came to an end and would never want to leave at the end of the day. I found the owner and staff extremely pleasant and warm. Lastly, my daughter learned a lot about different arts. The camp gives kids opportunities to contribute to a theatrical production in whatever ways most interest them. My view is that kids (and adults) learn best when they have some choice and are interested.

Angela has such a heart for children and a passion for everything that is theatre and marries the two together beautifully.   • My daughter has been attending for at least a month now and I can already see her gaining confidence in other aspects of her life. She is so excited to go every week and she is always sad to leave. I absolutely love the amount of student involvement in every aspect of the theater process - from the acting, singing, lighting, dancing, set design, etc. They really seem to experience every angle of theater. Seeing my child geared up with a professional microphone was so cool and you could just see her pride radiating from her. It is these touches and attention to details all throughout the program that really show the amount of care and consideration the program leaders have put in to every aspect of the program. Both of my kids LOVED the parents night out karaoke night. I couldn't handle how cute all the kids were with their microphones and in the spotlight singing so passionately.
