What an absolute treasure for our community! The Burchfield Educational Theatre is such a wonderful, nurturing space for children to truly learn the craft of theatre. The city of Buda is incredibly lucky to have a place like this. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and warmth. Everyone is so friendly, and the personalized care and attention they give to each student is truly top-notch. Most importantly, my daughter LOVED this camp. She was sad when her time there came to an end and would never want to leave at the end of the day. I found the owner and staff extremely pleasant and warm. Lastly, my daughter learned a lot about different arts. The camp gives kids opportunities to contribute to a theatrical production in whatever ways most interest them. My view is that kids (and adults) learn best when they have some choice and are interested.

I cannot say enough about Burchfield Educational Theatre! You feel like family as soon as you walk through the door. Angela has such a heart for children and a passion for everything that is theatre and marries the two together beautifully. The staff foster an environment that is structured yet flexible for children to learn and make mistakes. Each child is given the opportunity to find their own passion whether it be on stage or behind it. My three children participated in this year's summer camp and had so much fun that we are returning for their after school program starting this fall.

They have fabulous owners and an amazingly caring staff. They have rolled out so many fantastic performances in just one month!! My son has done 2 camps there, and he’s ready to do 2 more!! Can’t say enough positive things about Burchfield!! They are truly a gem in Hays County where every kid contributes in a safe respectful environment that respects the needs of everyone there.
