Supernova

  Grades 3rd–9th Recreational Theatre Program

In Supernova, kids take part in a fully staged musical while building confidence, friendships, and theatre skills. Whether they love singing, acting, designing, or dancing, there’s a place for every child to shine.

In Supernova, kids explore:

  • Rehearsing and performing in a fully staged musical or straight play

  • Learning lines, songs, and choreography

  • Creating characters and building scenes

  • Exploring costumes, lighting, sound, or props

  • Working as a team and growing in responsibility

  • Gaining experience through double or triple casting

Personalized Learning Through Theatre

As part of their Supernova experience, students can indicate what excites them most, whether it’s performing, designing, building, or working backstage. These interest areas help guide how we shape each child’s involvement in the production, so they’re growing in the areas that matter most to them.

We call this their Focus Area, and it’s our way of making sure every child feels seen, supported, and creatively challenged — no matter their role.

  • Choose 2–5 days/week (Mon–Fri)

    2 hrs/day

    15 weeks (Aug 25–Dec 12)

    Drop-off 3:30–4:30pm

    Class 4:30–6:30pm

    We follow the Hays CISD school calendar and will be off on all school holidays and for Thanksgiving Break,

  • Afterschool pick-up is available from select local schools. Please indicate interest on your registration form!

  • The Addams Family Jr. – December 12-14

    Participation in our straight play production in October (show TBA)

    Multiple casts to ensure every child gets a great role!

  • Need to adjust your schedule after registering? No problem!

    We kindly ask for at least 3 weeks’ notice to change your schedule or add a day. We’ll do our best to accommate.

A $275 deposit is due at registration to reserve your spot. Monthly plans begin Sept 1 and are charged automatically on the 1st of each month (Sept–Dec).
Full-pay totals include the deposit and reflect an 8% discount.
