• Tuition is based on the program schedule you select (2–5 days/week) and covers the full 15-week semester: August 25 – December 12.

• Includes all instruction, performance preparation, production materials, and costumes.

• A $275 deposit is due at registration and is applied toward your total tuition.

• The remaining balance is split into 4 equal monthly payments, billed on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1 or charged in full (payment due by 9/1).

• Note: Tuition is not prorated for holidays, theatre closures, or missed days. These are already factored into semester pricing.

• Families who pay in full receive 8% off the remaining balance after the $275 deposit. Monthly payment plans run Sept–Dec.

• Tuition covers all afterschool class days for the semester including days when Hays CISD schools are closed for student holidays (except Halloween). Our programs run on the published semester schedule regardless of district holiday closures, so your child won’t miss out on learning or rehearsal time. The full semester calendar can be found here.

• Transportation is optional and billed in four equal monthly installments (Sept–Dec) alongside tuition.

• Rates are based on the number of days per week your child is scheduled for pickup (e.g., 3 days/week = 3 rides/week).

• Pricing is calculated for the full semester (Aug 25–Dec 12) based on your chosen schedule, then split evenly into four payments.

• If transportation cannot be provided on a scheduled day (e.g., due to a school closure), families may request a refund for that day or apply a discounted rate toward All-Day Care.

• Transportation is a service fee tied to your child’s scheduled pickup days

We’re committed to being flexible before the first tuition payment because we want to make sure our program is the right fit for your family before you fully commit. Here’s how it works:

• Your $275 deposit secures your spot and is applied toward your total tuition. This deposit is non-refundable.

• You don’t have to commit to the full semester right away — the first tuition payment (whether paying monthly or in full) isn’t due until September 1.

• If you decide not to move forward after the first week, just let us know by 9/1, and we’ll cancel your plan before any additional charges. (Think of it as a built-in trial week!)

• After September 1, our standard policies apply. We ask for a 3-week notice for any changes to your billing plan or schedule.

• Your $275 non-refundable deposit goes toward your total tuition. After that, you can either pay the remainder in full by 9/1 and save 8%, or break it into four monthly payments.

• Pay the full semester balance (minus the deposit) by 9/1 and receive 8% off

• Or split tuition into four monthly payments due on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1

We offer several tuition-only discounts to support our families:

• Pay-in-Full Discount: 8% off total tuition when paying in full upfront (after deposit)

• Sibling Discount: 8% off tuition for each additional child when enrolling more than one student

• Teacher Discount: 8% off tuition for parents of registered students who are full-time K–12 educators. (Valid school ID or proof of employment required — must be requested via email).

• Military Discount: 8% off tuition for active-duty military families (Valid ID required — must be requested via email)

Important Notes

• Discounts apply to tuition only — not to transportation, due to the high cost and liability of providing direct school pickup.

• Discounts are capped at a maximum of 12% per student.

  • You may combine the pay-in-full discount with one other discount (sibling, military, or teacher) for a max of 12%.

  • The sibling, military, and teacher discounts cannot be combined with each other for the same child.

• Monthly Payment Plans:

  • If you choose monthly payments, any applicable discount will be evenly spread across your September–December invoices.

• Invoicing Process:

  • All discounts are manually applied after we receive your deposit. Your remaining payment plan or full-pay invoice will be adjusted based on your selections in the follow-up form.

• To Request a Teacher or Military Discount:

  • Email us with proof of eligibility to receive your adjusted invoice. These discounts are not applied automatically at checkout.

We require a valid card on file for all families, which will be securely stored and used to process both tuition and transportation payments.

• You’ll be prompted to enter your payment method prior to the first charge on September 1.

Tuition

• Tuition is auto-billed monthly on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1, unless you select the pay-in-full option.

• Monthly tuition payments are fixed based on your selected schedule and do not change from month to month.

Transportation

• Transportation is also auto-billed on the 1st of each month as a separate charge.

• Charges are adjusted monthly to reflect the actual number of scheduled pickup days (excluding holidays and school closures).

• You may request to add or remove days by emailing info@burchfieldtheatre.com

• Adding a day will increase your monthly tuition and/or transportation rate.

• Removing a day requires 3 weeks’ notice

• Changes must take effect at the start of a new month to align with our billing cycle.

• The only payment due before the program begins is your $275 deposit to reserve your child’s spot.

• If you withdraw before Sept 1, your deposit is non-refundable, but no further tuition is owed.

• Once the first tuition payment is charged on Sept 1, all tuition payments become non-refundable, as staffing, casting, and materials have already been allocated.

• That said, if your situation changes unexpectedly, we’re committed to working with you while still honoring the resources committed to your child.

• In cases of extended illness (2+ weeks), we may offer partial credit for future enrollment, pending a doctor’s note and admin approval.
