Fall 2025 Tuition, Payments, & Policies

We know enrolling in a program is a big decision and we want to ensure you have all the info you need before signing up. We’re committed to transparency and flexibility, so here’s everything you need to know about tuition, transportation, payments, and policies for our Fall 2025 programs.

  • Your tuition goes toward:

    • A high-quality fine arts education, not daycare

    • Instruction in theatre, musical theatre, dance, and tech

    • Materials, scripts, and production costs

    • Low-pressure but high-quality performance opportunities

    • Fair wages for our experienced, dedicated teaching artists

    We provide a full creative fine arts education, and that’s reflected in our pricing, our outcomes, and our values.

    • Tuition is based on the program schedule you select (2–5 days/week).

    • It covers the full semester: August 25 – December 12, including all instruction, performance prep, production materials, and costumes.

    • A $275 deposit is due at registration and applies toward your total tuition.

    • The remaining balance is split into 4 equal monthly payments, billed on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1.

    Note: Tuition is not prorated for holidays, closures, or missed days — these are already factored into your semester rate.

    Pay-in-full families receive 8% off their remaining balance after the $275 deposit. Monthly payment plans run Sept–Dec.

    • Transportation is optional and billed monthly alongside tuition.

    • Rates are based on how many days/week your child is scheduled for pickup (e.g., 3 days = 3 rides/week).

    • Charges are prorated each month based on the actual number of service days (holidays and closures excluded).

    • You will only be charged for the days we provide service.

    Transportation = a service fee tied to your child’s selected pickup schedule, not attendance.

  • Tuition covers a full semester of fine arts education — instruction, creative development, rehearsals, and performances. These program costs are spread evenly across four monthly payments for your convenience, not adjusted by attendance or the calendar.

    Transportation, on the other hand, is a logistical service tied to school schedules. Because ride days can vary month to month, we prorate transportation fairly to reflect actual service provided.

  • We’re committed to being flexible before the first tuition payment because we want to make sure our program is the right fit for your family before you fully commit. Here’s how it works:

    • Your $275 deposit secures your spot and is applied toward your total tuition. This deposit is non-refundable.

    • You don’t have to commit to the full semester right away — the first tuition payment (whether paying monthly or in full) isn’t due until September 1.

    • If you decide not to move forward after the first week, just let us know by 9/1, and we’ll cancel your plan before any additional charges. (Think of it as a built-in trial week!)

    • After September 1, our standard policies apply. We ask for a 3-week notice for any changes to your billing plan or schedule.

    • Your $275 non-refundable deposit goes toward your total tuition. After that, you can either pay the remainder in full by 9/1 and save 8%, or break it into four monthly payments.

    • Pay the full semester balance (minus the deposit) by 9/1 and receive 8% off

    • Or split tuition into four monthly payments due on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1

    • We offer several tuition-only discounts to support our families:

    • Sibling Discount: 8% off combined tuition when enrolling more than one child

    • Pay-in-Full Discount: 8% off total tuition when paying in full upfront (after deposit)

    • Military Discount: 8% off tuition for active-duty military families (valid ID required; must be requested)

    💡 Important Notes:

    • Discounts apply to tuition only, not transportation, due to the high cost and liability of providing direct school pickup

    • Discounts cannot be combined beyond a maximum of 12%

    • If you choose a monthly payment plan, any applicable discount will be evenly spread across your September–December invoices

    We will automatically adjust your payment plan or full-pay invoice based on your selections in the form you complete after paying the deposit

    Military discounts must be requested separately — just email us with proof of eligibility

  • We require a valid card on file for all families, which will be securely stored and used to process both tuition and transportation payments.

    • You’ll be prompted to enter your payment method prior to the first charge on September 1.

    Tuition

    • Tuition is auto-billed monthly on Sept 1, Oct 1, Nov 1, and Dec 1, unless you select the pay-in-full option.

    • Monthly tuition payments are fixed based on your selected schedule and do not change from month to month.

    Transportation

    • Transportation is also auto-billed on the 1st of each month as a separate charge.

    • Charges are adjusted monthly to reflect the actual number of scheduled pickup days (excluding holidays and school closures).

    • You may request to add or remove days by emailing info@burchfieldtheatre.com

    • Adding a day will increase your monthly tuition and/or transportation rate.

    • Removing a day requires 3 weeks’ notice

    • Changes must take effect at the start of a new month to align with our billing cycle.

    • The only payment due before the program begins is your $275 deposit to reserve your child’s spot.

    • If you withdraw before Sept 1, your deposit is non-refundable, but no further tuition is owed.

    • Once the first tuition payment is charged on Sept 1, all tuition payments become non-refundable, as staffing, casting, and materials have already been allocated.

    • That said, if your situation changes unexpectedly, we’re committed to working with you while still honoring the resources committed to your child.

    • In cases of extended illness (2+ weeks), we may offer partial credit for future enrollment, pending a doctor’s note and admin approval.
